Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC), holding McDonald’s Franchise Philippines, has finally collaborated with PayMaya Philippines Inc. to accept clients’ card payments in over 40 selected branches nationwide.

Selected McDonald’s stores have already started taking transactions for all types of credit and prepaid cards, MasterCard and Visa credits including Smart MasterCard and PayMaya Visa credit, while McCafe Bonifacio Global City Arts Center and McCafe Tagaytay-Calamba will soon be allowing PayMaya QR payments.
“We’re starting with McDonald’s today, but we envision a future where most of our transactions will be carried out with the help of a PayMaya account,” Manuel Pangilinan stated, PLDT own voyager and Chairman at Smart and PayMaya.
The fast food chain plans to branch out for more stores in upcoming months and with the help of PayMaya, transactions for McCelebrations Birthday Party and orders made through McDelivery will be available soon.
“Our goal is to continuously provide our customers with a convenient and feel-good restaurant experience, which is why we are committed in seeking out innovations that can deliver this to them,” says Kenneth S. Yang, President and CEO of McDonalds Ph.
Along with PayMaya partnership, the famous food franchise also keeps up with pioneering companies such as Lazada, Zalora, Philippine Airlines, and Cebu Pacific who are among those promoting cashless option.
“This is digital technology at its most convenient, and we are working toward enabling more partners like McDonald’s to further build a "cashless" ecosystem all around the country,” Pangilinan added.
PayMaya is an established brand and the first prepaid online payment application that enables clients and customers to pay online without credit card.
Shoppers can start using PayMaya by purchasing a card online and download its application from Google Play and Apple Store.
