The Philippine Airlines Incorporated (PAL), the country’s well-known airline company, proudly introduced their latest innovation for 2018 as it pushed through efforts in expanding routes, upgrading fleet, and improving passenger service.

One of the goals of PAL is to make their passengers comfortable every time they experience well-accommodated and convenient services. In existence of the 3-star airline rating by the London based-air transport organization, Skytrax, PAL was also rated a high note because of its resilient service standards for the past years.
Step by step, PAL is fixing their old-fashioned suites and continue to innovate the sub-standards of their airline service.
Additionally, as part of the top to bottom enhancement of the company service, they’ve already delivered seven passenger commercial airplanes to increase the service accommodations and to regulate the flow of passengers.
"The flag carrier shifted to high gear on initiatives to raise its rating by airline or airport rating company Skytrax to 4 stars in 2018, and eventually to 5 stars by 2020. The goal is not a quick fix but a multi-year top-to-bottom re-invention of the airline," the country's flag carrier said in a statement.
PAL also announced the 3-pronged strategy of fleet upgrades and the expansion of the primary routes from the different sub-PAL airports in the Philippines.
Aside from the main airport located in the city of Pasay, the company also widened their service in Visayas (Cebu Airport) as a domestic route.
If the Philippine Airlines Inc. reaches the target ratings of their goal, the businessman Lucio Tan said that they will sell the 40% of the country’s old airline to big foreign investors.
Before aiming the 4-star rating, PAL settled their P6 billion payment to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the navigational fees and other charges they’ve acquired through the past years.
This year of 2018, the Philippine Airlines is targeting the peak of being one of the most globally competitive airline companies in the world.
